For more than 50 years, The Tennessee Magazine has been the official publication of our electric cooperatives, keeping member-owners informed about their co-ops, showcasing the wonders of electric service and highlighting the special events around the state.
The cover story of the April 1969 edition highlighted the SMV EMBLEM, a bright orange sign created to alert motorists to vehicles traveling 25 mph or slower on roadways. Electric cooperative members also learned about efficient kitchen layouts in which to take fill advantage of the newest electical appliances.
