For more than 50 years, The Tennessee Magazine has been the official publication of our electric cooperatives, keeping member-owners informed about their coops, showcasing the wonders of electric service and highlighting the special events around the state.
On the cover of the February 1969 edition, electric cooperative members saw a wintry photo from East Tennessee illustrating “the month of warm hearts and cold weather.” Inside, they read about a vocational training boom in the Upper Cumberland and found a pitch for the “sure-to-succeed” electric range.
