For more than 50 years, The Tennessee Magazine has been the official publication of our electric cooperatives, keeping member-owners informed about their co-op, showcasing the wonders of electric service and highlighting the special events around the state.
In the May 1968 edition, readers learned all about lightbulbs in an article that included illustrations on the most common types and their uses and saw an ad for “quality merchandise at discount prices” — including fishing rods and electric appliances — from the Rural Discount Cooperative Co.
