For more than 50 years, The Tennessee Magazine has been the official publication of our electric cooperatives, keeping member-owners informed about their co-op, showcasing the wonders of electric service and highlighting the special events around the state.
The cover of the September 1968 edition featured historic East Tennessee site Rocky Mount. Inside, readers saw ads for correspondence education, health insurance and “second home cottages” and learned how an “automatic dishwasher” could make household chores more manageable.
