Mill Ridge Park Photography Contest

FreeJoin as Mill Ridge Park celebrates Nature Photography Day (June 15) and launch their first Friends of Mill Ridge Park photography contest. See below for details and follow them on social media to stay updated throughout the contest.
Photo Contest Rules:

Photo must be taken on Mill Ridge Park property grounds.

Photo must be taken between Saturday, June 15, 2024 and Saturday, September Sept. 7, 2024.

Photo must align with the mission, vision and/or organizational values of Mill Ridge Park.

Accompanying caption with photo must be NO MORE than 50 words.
Submission Details: (You only need to submit one of the following ways)

Email your photos to Grace Ingram, Community Engagement Coordinator, [email protected] with the subject line as “LAST NAME, FIRST NAME FMRP Photo Contest.” Make sure to include your photo caption in the body of the text.
Social Media:
You must be following the park on either Facebook or Instagram. Upload your entry and tag our respective social media account in the post. Make sure to include your photo caption in the body of the post.
There is a maximum of 3 photo submissions per individual.
Judging and Winners:
The entries will be judged by a mixed panel of FMRP Board and staff members, long-term volunteers and Metro Parks and Rec staff.
The top entries will be printed and displayed at Pear Jam 2024 on Saturday, Sept. 28. Prizes will be awarded during this time. This is also where the overall winner will be announced and congratulated.
They encourage photographers of all levels to participate and capture the beauty and diversity of the park and its people!
