Beaujolais Nouveau Celebration & Fall Fundraiser
Sat., November 19, 7:00 pm-10:00 pm
$75Back for the first time since 2019, the Alliance Française of Nashville (AFN) presents its annual Beaujolais Nouveau Celebration & Fall Fundraiser on November 19th at the Sugartree Clubhouse in Belle Meade. This year’s theme is Sixties Cinéma. Come dressed in the style of that era and join us for an evening of fun!
The event will include a Beaujolais Nouveau wine tasting, heavy hors d’œuvres, a live musical performance by Serenatta Latin Ensemble, and a silent auction featuring items such as gift cards from local restaurants and stores, Nashville Symphony tickets, an exclusive Suléko Parisian perfume in a hand-crafted Limoges bottle, and original works from local artists, such as Alan LeQuire and Greg Decker.
Proceeds from the silent auction support AFN’s Nina Walls Scholarship, which provides a local French teacher the opportunity to live and study in France each summer, along with the many other cultural and education events hosted by the organization throughout the year.
Tickets are $50 for AFN members and $75 for Nonmembers. To purchase tickets in advance, visit afnashville.org.
All event inquiries or interest in getting involved as a donor, sponsor, or volunteer can be emailed directly to [email protected].
The Mission of Alliance Française Nashville
Alliance Française de Nashville is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to increase appreciation for the French language and francophone cultures worldwide and, in so doing, reinforce the Franco-American friendship. To fulfill this mission, AFN organizes cultural events in the community, provides a place where recent arrivals from francophone nations can make significant connections with other French speakers in Nashville, offers French classes and topical workshops, and funds two scholarships annually.
