Fall Folk Arts Festival
Sat., September 23-Sun., September 24
Free – $5![](https://www.tnmagazine.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Fall-Folk-Arts-Festival-1-scaled.jpg)
The Fall Folk Arts Festival is the last full weekend of September. Harvest time activities on an 1850s farm are prominently featured, with an emphasis on high-quality, hand-made pioneer handicrafts, harvest produce and plants, and baked goods. A highlight is always the demonstration of specific fall activities, especially the harvesting and cooking of sorghum. Traditional music, old-fashioned foods, children’s activities, and visits with our animals are important parts of the event. The oldest Fall Festival in the region, it began in 1972.
Admission is $5.00 for those over the age of 12, free for all others.
