Christmas in the Country

Christmas in the Country is the first Saturday of December. The sales of fresh greenery, roping and wreaths, and handcrafted decorations are featured. Traditional foods are cooked over the open hearth, and there are demonstrations of winter activities on a 19th-century farmstead. Of course, children’s activities and visits with our animals are important parts of the event. The very unique Yule Log Ceremony concludes the celebration.
