With Lois Ellen Martin, a nature photographer of southern Appalachia
These days it’s easier than ever to be a photographer, with so many carrying a smart phone with them everywhere! Whether you use a phone to capture life on the go, or have a full camera to practice on, at January’s Creative Souls meeting you can pick up some tips to improve your picture-taking skills.
Your skill level does not matter; all are welcome! Lois will be sharing ways to take better photos, including practical aspects of composing and taking shots, what not to do, and ways to keep improving.
Photography is meant to be fun! It helps us record memories, share moments with family and friends, helps us notice and appreciate the world around us, and stretches our creativity. Not to mention it can get us out of the house, give us something to focus on, and lead us to meet new people.
Whenever she can fit it in, Lois enjoys exploring the natural beauty of the Tri-Cities and surrounding region, always with a camera in hand. Samples of her work will available that evening.
