HONORING AMERICA’S FLAG

The Exchange Club of West Wilson County, and the American Legion Tyler Cates Post 281 are proud to host the 13th annual “Honoring America’s Flag”. This is an event, open to the public and free of charge, to raise awareness and funds for the on-going charitable services provided by our service organizations.
This event features a display of a field of American flags attached to 8’ poles and installed in a grid on a one acre site at the Veterans Park on North Mt. Juliet Road. It is a moving tribute to the men and women who are now serving or have served in the military branches of the United States of America or to any flag loving American. Flag sponsors will have the option of honoring a hero in their life, a former or present member of the military or a POW/MIA. Flags with such an Honoree will bear an identifying label and a yellow ribbon. At the end of the event take the flag home, to your business or present it to your hero to fly and continue the tribute.
