Jazz Empowers 10th Anniversary Gala ft. Roland Barber’s Brass Band

Join the nonprofit Jazz Empowers on April 18th from 7 pm-9 pm for an exciting gala celebrating 10 years of bringing jazz to youth in under served schools!
The event will be headlined by the exciting Roland Barber and the Righteous Few Brass Band. This professional ensemble brings authentic New Orleans brass band music to Music City. Hear the big bass of the sousaphone, the audacious beat of the bass drum and snare, and the soulful mix of horns that will have you saying an “Ain’t no party like an RF party!”
The event will also feature inspiring Jazz Empowers student performances and testimonials. Gala attendees will experience a celebration of all of the amazing accomplishments Jazz Empowers students have made over the past decade.
The event will also feature a silent auction, and a live fund-a-need where you can donate to help put crucial instruments, sheet music, and other equipment in the hands of Jazz Empowers students. The evening will end with a jam session where Jazz Empowers students will perform a song with Roland Barber and the Righteous Few Brass Band! You don’t want to miss this once in a decade event!
