Organ Dedication Recital

On Friday, November 17, at 7:00 pm, there will be an Organ Dedication recital for the newly installed pipe organ at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Johnson City, TN. The program will be played by Mr. Tate Addis, organist of First Baptist Church in Asheville, NC. The new instrument was built by Patrick J. Murphy and Associates of Stowe, Pennsylvania and consists of 3 manuals and 46 ranks of pipes. Music selections will be by: John Cook, Samuel Barber, George Shearing, Healey Willan, Anton Heiller, Johann S. Bach, Leo Sowerby and Marcel Dupre.
