Poets From the Neighborhood’s National Poetry Month Festival – TN POETs

*The PFTN’s 2024 Decennial Celebration is a Hybrid – with ongoing Virtual events, too!
DATE: Apr. 27th (10 a.m. – 3;30 p.m.: FREE and OPEN to PUBLIC!
VENUE: Williamson County Public Library (WCPL – Main Branch), 1314 Columbia Ave., Franklin, TN 37064.
Welcome and PFTN Decennial Dedication by the Annual TN POETs DAY Founder/Organizer – Veera Dr. Rajaratnam S. (10 a.m.); Keynote Speech by Honorable WC Mayor Rogers Anderson (10:10 a.m.) who will also present the PFTN Awards-2024. Events include a Lecture on Poetry In Country Music by TN Poet – Laureate Margaret Britton Vaughn (11:30 a.m.); A Lecture by Renowned TN POET – Jeff Hardin (1:30 p.m.); Song Performance by Award-Winning Singer & Poet Kathryn Adams & Author Book-Signings & Readings by Renowned TN POETs David M. Harris, Jeff Hardin, JoyPoet Veeraja R, Margaret B. Vaughn (TN Poet Laureate), Henry L. Jones (Hendersonville Poet Laureate) & more TN Poets (Email to sign up).
There will be TWO Open-Mic Poetry Sessions (11:00 a.m. & 1:00 p.m.) FREE & Open to the Public (all Ages/Sign Up at the Door). Open-Mic Emcee: David M. Harris.
