August 13th – 11 a.m. & 1 p.m. – Herbal Tea Sampler – Learn about how herbs were (and still are) often used to make teas, the purported health benefits, and sample a few teas from herbs in our garden!
September 3rd – 11 a.m. & 1 p.m. – Herbs of the Historical Kitchen – Learn about the role herbs played in the 19th-century kitchen and sample a historical recipe or two!
October 29th – 11 a.m. & 1 p.m. – Herbs of Death – Learn about the role of herbs in historical funeral practices and as agents of death!
