The Tennessee Magazine asked our readers to send us images of their pets. Nearly 2,500 entries of your furbabies made judging a difficult task. Your subjects included baby goats, horses, a bearded dragon, a hedgehog and hundreds of dogs and cats.
Judges placed an emphasis on the subject, composition and lighting. The winning photographers showed a skilled grasp of technical fundamentals as well as patience and persistence in pursuing the perfect moment to capture. All the pieces came together in these featured images.
