Since September 2019, you, as a Southwest Tennessee EMC member, have had the opportunity to make a positive change in our community. By simply rounding your electric bill up to the next dollar, you have contributed to many worthy causes in our local community such as volunteer fire departments, senior citizen centers and youth programs.
This charitable giving opportunity was launched to assist local community organizations and projects across our service area. Individual monthly donations range from a cent to 99 cents per month. Visit our website to see all the grants that have been awarded.
If you choose not to participate, you can opt-out at any time by going to stemc.com/southwest-members-care-inc, calling your local office, or filling out the opt-out form below and mailing it to your local office.

Southwest Tennessee EMC utilizes a charitable contribution program authorized under Tennessee Code Annotated Section 65-25-105-(d)-(1) that will round up monthly electric bills to the next dollar. This program is operated on an “opt-out” basis.
