Duck River EMC is proud to welcome Gina Warren to the Member Services Department as its communications and community relations coordinator. She will be responsible for digital communica-tions, website management and various marketing and community outreach programs.
Warren grew up in Lynchburg and earned her associate’s degree from Motlow State Community College in mass communications and her bachelor’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University in public relations. Warren also possesses her Certified Cooperative Communicator (CCC) certification through the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association. Prior to joining DREMC, she was employed with Fayetteville Public Utilities as a public relations specialist.
“Gina’s proven track record of success in communications will be invaluable in meeting the departmental goals and objectives of DREMC’s strategy map,” says Member Services Manager Carol Garrette.
Hobbies for Warren include spending time with husband Derek and children Ben and Katie as well as teaching a teen Sunday school class at Mt. Herman Nazarene Church. She also likes to spend time outdoors and is an avid photographer and collector of antiques.
